**Under Armour Appoints John Varvatos as Chief Design Officer**

(NYSE: UAA), a leading innovator, designer, marketer, and distributor of branded athletic performance apparel, footwear, and accessories, today announced that acclaimed fashion designer John Varvatos has been appointed Chief Design Officer, effective immediately.
In this newly created role, Varvatos will lead all aspects of Under Armour’s global design strategy, overseeing the creative vision for the brand across all categories, including men’s, women’s, and youth apparel, footwear, and accessories. He will report directly to Under Armour President and CEO Colin Browne.
With over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry, Varvatos is renowned for his distinctive and sophisticated designs that have earned him critical acclaim and a loyal following. He is the founder and creative director of his eponymous menswear label, John Varvatos, which has become synonymous with modern American luxury and has expanded to include a range of products, including footwear, accessories, fragrances, and home goods.
