Assemat brings over two decades of experience in the fashion industry, having held leadership roles at renowned brands like Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, and most recently, as SVP of Design and Merchandising at Express. Throughout his career, he has been instrumental in developing successful product lines, building strong design teams, and driving brand growth.
In his new role at Caleres, Assemat will oversee the design vision and strategy for the entire portfolio of brands, ensuring consistency and alignment while also fostering creativity and innovation. He will work closely with the brand presidents and design teams to elevate the product offerings, enhance the customer experience, and drive long-term growth.
